MERC designs and implements program evaluations and conducts applied research projects for a variety of organizations, including PK12 school divisions, colleges and universities, government agencies, and nonprofits. We work closely with our clients to tailor our evaluations to fit their program’s needs.
Our team members have experience creating and implementing evaluation plans for programs ranging from one-day events to a multi-year staff development projects. We also have experience using a variety of evaluation approaches including:
Developmental Evaluations can support the development of a program theory and models (e.g., logic models, mission goals statements, strategic plans).
Formative Evaluations provide a snapshot of how the program is progressing by showing what is working and uncovering any disconnects between the program plan and implementation.
Summative Evaluations determine the outcome of the program upon its completion. This can allow you to determine if you would like to continue or expand your program.
Once complete, we will present the findings of our evaluation in a manner that is appropriate for your organization. We are experienced in providing written reports and public presentations to various audiences, including policy makers, teachers, students, and community members.
